My name is Lucinda Watrous, though I go by Cindy most of the time, and I work with many Internet marketers every day. I’m a happy married woman of eight years (we’re both 26; we were high school sweethearts), and a proud mother of one, a seven year old boy, Joe.
This blog is a culmination of our love of food, and our desire to share our experiences with others, as well as allowing hubby a creative outlet to reach others with his recipes. Why would you want me to review your products on It’s Foodtastic?
I’m a seasoned SEO content writer for the web, having nearly four years experience in the field. I’m also a web designer, and I built this site on my own. I run my own successful business online at Lucinda Uncensored. I have what it takes to write a thorough and honest review of your product, and how to ensure it reaches plenty of people.
Being in this field gives me access to a large network of people outside of people who have yet to discover my blog. Many of my friends are writers, marketers, and Moms. My husband is an amateur chef who welcomes the chance to learn. If your product applies to him more so than I, I will work with him to produce a review based on his thoughts and experience. If we find something negative about your product, we will present it in a way that explains while it wasn’t a good fit for us, it may still be an option for others; but we will not automatically give all products a glowing review. We are all about honesty, and clarity.
I promote my reviews to my Twitter followers on both the blog’s account, and my personal account, as well as my blog subscribers. To comply with the FTC Guidelines, I always disclose when I’ve received compensation (monetary and otherwise) for product reviews and giveaways. To comply with Google’s policy’s on sponsored reviews, I always use a “no-follow” link so your company doesn’t have to worry about a “paid link” penalty.
Review and Giveaway Policy
As a professional copywriter, blogger, and web designer, my product reviews and giveaways are always handled in a timely and professional manner. My time is valuable, but is priced competitively for mutual benefit.
I do not charge for a product review, but I must have a product to review. The product should be food related, targeted toward home cooks, moms, or small children. If I do not feel your product is a good fit for my family, I will let you know. As a general rule, products sent for my review are kept as compensation. If your product must be returned, please let me know beforehand. You will be responsible for return shipping costs.
If you’d like me to run a giveaway for my readers, I do ask for a fee of $35. This covers the time I spend setting up and maintaining the giveaway, and is discounted from my regular hourly rate.
For small business owners, I am willing to negotiate my rates, because I believe in giving back to my community. I am also a small business owner, and I understand what it means to have a less than ideal budget. If you’re interested in discussing a reduced rate, please be sure your product is something I should believe in, and craft a personal proposal.

If I decide the product is right for us, I will reply with my shipping address so you can send the product.
You are responsible for all shipping costs. If you decide to run a giveaway, I will also include the PayPal email address for payment.
Please consider a phone call will take more of my time than an email conversation. If you wish to speak by phone, you will be billed another hour of my time at the discounted rate, regardless of whether the conversation lasts an hour or not. I will provide my phone number at your request only.
